Welcome

to my website. Here you can find out who I am, what I have achieved and what I am working with just now. From this site you can also download texts that I have written in the course of my professional life.

A short presentation

In 2008 I retired from my position as a professor of musicology at the Music Department in the School of Education at Växjö University (now Linnæus University, Växjö).

The retirement has not stopped me from going on with several research projects, which you can read about under Ongoing projects.

In 2009 I and my husband, Gunnar Olofsson, emeritus professor in sociology at the Linnæus university moved back to our house in Lund from Växjö, where we had been living since 2002. We still travel quite often to Växjö and the Linnæus university, in order to fulfil the research we once started there.
